FACINE 26 FULL-LENGTH FILM WINNERS, CITATIONS; JINO TO MARI, GUSTO KITA WITH ALL MY HYPOTHALAMUS WIN GOLD; ALIMUOM, BALANGIGA: HOWLING WILDERNESS WIN SILVER

October 22, 2019, San Francisco - The Filipino Arts & Cinema International (FACINE) has announced the winners of its 26th year edition's full-length film competition, in different categories, including Outstanding Film.

As previously announced, in a marked shift for an awards process, more than one winner may be selected in any category with special mention or citation as the case may be; the film titles considered as winners will be categorized as well; and no longer will winners be referred to as "best", but "outstanding". Consequently, the process will mitigate the impact of "competition", rather paves the way for ongoing conversation among our film audience, thus opening the space for revaluation.

A panel of three jury members were asked to view each entry, evaluate each one in a ratings sheet, take notes, if ever; the Festival Director will then tally the rankings and come up with the winners and special citation.

The following is the list of the final winners and special citations, including nominees, as the case may be:
