FACINE 28 ANNOUNCES JURY MEMBERS, CONTINUES TIERED AWARDING OF WINNERS -
As with the previous years, FACINE invited prominent film practitioners to comprise its jury for the full-length films. The jury members were tasked to screen all eight feature-length films in September, they were asked to rate the films in all categories, the ratings tallied and the winners declared according to different levels of valuation.
Deviating from all film groups manner of selecting winners, FACINE re-considers its process of selection as not exclusive to one film, but more than one, if need be, thus mitigating the idea of competition, but more of a continuing conversation, as explained in the last festival in 2019. Hence, the categorization to levels of valuation - Gold, Silver, Bronze, Special citation. In other words, this allows for revaluation, space for debate.
FACINE is proud of and grateful for the participation of the following to be members of this year's Jury.

She has worked as production designer of landmark Filipino films, among them Lino Brocka's INSIANG, Marilou Diaz-Abaya's MORAL and KARNAL, Maryo de los Reyes's HIGH SCHOOL CIRCA 65. She was honored recently with the Natatanging Gawad Urian, a Lifetime Achievement Award, for production design in 2020.
